About the Area
On the southern coast of Spain, in the beautiful Costa Tropical and on the eastern side of the Costa del Sol, are some fantastic towns and villages that are ideal for a great holiday - with the added bonus that they have easy access, are relatively flat and wheelchair friendly.
Only an hour from Malaga, by car, are the villages of Nerja, La Herradura and Almuñecar which are perfect for a holiday with plenty of time on the beach, great sightseeing possibilities and lovely local produce to sample in the restaurants and bars.
A little over an hour away is the historic city of Granada with the magnificent Alhambra - not to be missed.
Also nearby are the Sierra Nevadas where you can enjoy snow and skiing in the morning and then be back to the coast for a swim in the sea later in the day.
